MANX CLUB High Desert Buggy Fest 2024 (EVENT SCHEDULE)
All activities to be held at Helendale/Silverlake Community Park.
(Located 15425 Wild Rd, Helendale CA. 92342)
THURSDAY — October 10th 2024
3:00pm - 6:30pm PIZZA CHECK IN Pick up your shirts, sign up for runs and grab a slice of pizza!
BUGGY RUNS:
Friday - Buggistas “Antique” Run
Friday - Street Run to U.S. Borax Mine, Boron CA.
Friday - Desert Water tower loop.
Friday - 18 Hole Golf on the Silverlake’s course (Golf info below)
Saturday - Street Run, Touring Historic Route 66 and sites on to Slash X for lunch.
Saturday - Desert Run, Loop 1 Route 66 to Desert trails on to Slash X for lunch.
Saturday - Desert Run, Loop 2 Route 66 to Desert trails on to Slash X for lunch.
Saturday - Additional Loop 3 planned if needed.
FRIDAY — October 11th 2024
7:00am - Coffee and Donuts
7:00am - 8:00 Golfers depart
8:00am - 6:00pm Check In, pick up your shirts and sign up for runs
10:00am - Drivers Meeting (ALL drivers MUST be in attendance)
10:15am - Buggistas staging
10:30am - Buggistas depart
10:45am - Depart for Fridays runs
3:00pm - (approx) Return to Silverlake’s Park
4:00pm - 8:00pm - Taco Truck “meal sales on site” (Bring chairs & drinks)
6:00pm - 10:00pm BUGGY-PARTY-IN-THE-PARK!
“Show Off Your Buggy’s Lights and Dance to the Live Music!”
SATURDAY — October 12 2024.
7:00am - Coffee and Donuts.
8:00am - Check In, Sign up for runs
8:00am - 10:00am Show-N-Shine (Desert Style) “Who cares if it’s dirty!”
“Please have your ballots turned in by 10:00am”
10:00am - Drivers Meeting (ALL drivers MUST be in attendance)
10:15am - Stage buggies for runs
10:30am - Depart for runs.
4:00pm - (approx) Return to Silverlake’s Park.
5:00pm - 7:30pm- Shourai BBQ on site for dinner. (Wristbands will be sold during registration)
7:00pm - Awards Ceremony. POTLUCK DESSERT “Bring your favorite dessert”. (Bring chairs and drinks)
SUNDAY — October 13 2024
7:00am - Coffee and Donuts
7:45am - Stage for Buggy lap around the lake.
8:00am - Depart for Buggy parade lap around the lake. Back to the park and stage buggies for photo.
9:00am - 50/50 and Raffle (Bring chairs)

GOLF
Our Association has graciously offered open Golf on our Beautiful private course to Manx Club members. Those that are interested must call the Pro Shop for a Tee time.
760-245-7435. Earliest times start at 7am.
18 Holes $30.00, Cart $20.00 must start before 12:15pm
9 Holes $15.00, Cart $10.00 must start before 2:15pm
Course can be “walked” if you prefer
