Re: Manx II Hood Removal
Thanks Lastmanx, ya I've got to get to the top of the tank. The previous owner went through the tank, sealed, new sending unit, etc. I'm thinking there is a bad seal somewhere on top, probably the sending unit. There are no leaks visible. I want to put the new black nose badge on anyway. It has the ...

Manx II Hood Removal
Hi everybody, I need to get to my fuel tank. Been smelling gas fumes when full. I've never done this job before. Anyway I've taken off the windshield and all of the screws and bolts holding the hood on. I loosened the steering column U-bolts and loosened the cinch nut at the steering box. I can rais...

Re: Appraisal
Haha, you did good. I'll put that info. in my back pocket. You're right about them not knowing what SPCN is (still don't). I know a car salesman that could probably do a bogus appraisal. I'll start with that route and hope for the best. I'll let you know. Thanks, Mike

Appraisal
Hello, I'm trying to get my Manx that I bought in Idaho licensed in Washington State. I went to the DOL and they are trying but they need a certified weight and an appraisal to finish it. The weight was no problem, 1460 (w/my butt in it). But I don't know where to get an appraisal. They said just go...

Re: New Buggy
Hi mykee50, Man, that buggy looks fantastic; I like the color and simplicity. Looking through Ryan's old thread, I noticed where he had purchased a Manx sidewinder exhaust. Just a word of caution; the newer versions of the (one piece) sidewinder exhaust may not accept the traditional rear cage styl...

Hi All, can anybody identify the year of this pan number? 10941394. It's possibly 56'-59' but I'm not sure. I tried the I.D. websites but didn't get anywhere. Thanks in advance, Mike

Registry #195?
Hello, does anyone know anything about Meyers Manx registry #195? It's on the 2017 docket (#142) for Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale in January. We are going this year and I'm still looking for a Manx.
Thanks, Michael

Re: Serial Numbers
Thanks rich.roy.9, I was thrown off by the way its listed on the owners listing. This buggy and the one before it are both Manx II's but the first one reads M2---MANX II---1261---. The second one (this one) reads M-9D75S---M2511J822S. Is that because this one was pre-Bruce and the other one post-Bru...
