Re: Engine Won't Fire Up

I've had the same problem with our Tow'd if it hasn't been ran in a while. I found the problem is that the points oxidize
(or something like that) from sitting, a piece of 600 grit sandpaper between the points and it stated right up.

So far all the ...

Re: "Hop" in to our Tow'd build.....

Hello David,

It looks like you've found a nice unmolested Tow'd. The frame horn angle is determined by the tabs that go from the
frame to the upper shock mounts. The frame horns do not sit completely level they do tilt up a little.

Re: Wing mounting hardware

This is a picture of the radiator mount without the radiator installed and another with the top mount a little more visible.

I think the aluminum colored bracket you are referring too is the side of the radiator.

Re: Wing mounting hardware

Hello Artie, I recently just completed mounting the radiator on our Dual sport 025. I first mounted the wing and then made the radiator mounts fit the wing angle. The top of the wing hinges off the body and I made some brackets to mount the sides. Are you using the Ron Davis radiator he makes for th...

Re: Our new Manxter

Hi Jeff, I'm running the hanging pedal option offered with the dual sport kit. The gas pedal is from Jamar and will mount to the aluminum sub-floor. I'll use a standard jacketed aftermarket cable. Since your chassis is set up for stock VW pedals you could use the stock pedal set up just remove the b...
