I have Kadrons on our siggy and they barely fit. The engine original had Weber 44 and there was no way they would fit. Ours was an early siggy, and I heard they had a short tail area. Hope this helps

I have 4 wheel drums with all new (3 years old ) brake cylinders, M/C, etc. drums were new German drums and ...

Re: TRW steering Box ?
Yes mine is on a ball joint front end. It had the plastic covers. I need to install the zerk fittings. It was empty when I check it. Filled it and wow big difference. Filling it was not fun. Trying to get 90 Wt into it at that angle and thick oil made it very frustrating. Do you know what size zerks...

Re: Bruce's birthday party?
We are planning to get to Los Angeles a few days before Bruce's party to do some sightseeing. I have only been to LA for business in the past, so we haven't seen much as a tourist. Can you locals suggest the "must see" places? And a good place to stay as a base lodging location? Oh by the ...

Bruce's birthday party?
We are planning on driving out for Bruce's birthday party at the Peterson museum in March. Is this going to be open to all members of the Manx club or is by invite only? Don't want to drive out and not be able to get in. Any suggestions on a place to stay in that area. Lodging looks a little pricey ...

Re: Dual master cylinder ?
Thanks guys, Do you think since the whole brake system was never filled that it's dried out and I should replace the all the hardware? I noticed the the rear chamber of the master reservoir won't suck down. The front looks like it's fine. Maybe I have the same issue you had Tom. I need to play with ...

What are you all using for your dual master cylinder and wheel cylinder? Anyone using AC industries from SoCal imports?

Dual master cylinder ?
This is what happens on a 15 year build. I have an ATE master cylinder with a Volvo reservoir. I installed this a long time ago 10 years plus. Never filled the system till today. Front brakes fluid flowed fine, but the rears look like they are clogged, I will pull it off tomorrow. Should I just orde...

Led replacement bulbs?
I am running 1967 beetle rear tail light assemble and Lucas front turn assembly. The rear turn signal is a 1156 single contact bulb and a dual 1157 bulb for tail and brake lights. The front runs a dual contact 1157 bulb. I want to switch to led "bulbs". Do I need resistors on the tail and ...

Re: Gas fumes.
Thanks, I think I figured it out. Remember I started this build in 2000, so I have forgot some of the stuff I purchased. The gas tank I have is a pre 67 with a relocated center mount. What I thought was a factory vent is a relocated vent that use to be on the stock location filler. So this vent is c...

Re: Gas fumes.
I am running a steel fuel line, with a short rubber fuel hose from the tank to the line and again a rubber hose from the rear exit to the carbs. I plugged up the vent after my first post and the smell seemed to deminish. I am going to let it sit overnight and check for smell in the morning. Let the ...
