Re: Adjustable irs spring plates
I've also used adjustable spring plates with no issues. I prefer the center torsion adjuster, but that is a lot more fabrication work.

Re: NORRA 1000 2022
Thank you for the kind words, Bud. NORRA is such a great event and to be able to do it in a Manx is the best. We just like to see all the teams do well and we hope more can give it a try.

NORRA 1000 2022
A little late, but I figured I would post this here for my ten's of followers. El Gusano has raced quite a few miles and the 2022 NORRA 1000 was the eighth race for the Pioneer Buggy Meyers Manx. Prior to each race the buggy gets good prep and usually updates from things learned in previous races. T...

Pretty sure that the 42 1/4" measurement is correct.

Day 1 was a loop to the northeast up through the pine forest area and Day 2 dropped down the coast before coming back inl...

Re: Help to Identify buggy please
$500 for a complete chassis is is a pretty good deal.
The dash does not look like a Manx and I don't think there were any bodies that just had the battery well and not the tire well on the other side.
It's still a good looking body and if the fiberglass isn't too bad, it will make a nice car.

These are pretty simple cars, so taking the hood off usually isn't too bad of job depending on how it was mounte...

Re: Sand Tire and Rim Selection
The Desert Tracks work real well with a smaller engine. They give you good floatation and traction without digging in too much.
