Since it is raining like crazy, and waiting on the garage to heat up, another update on Loretta. Since I was in the fiberglass mood, I also prepped the spare tire well for it's repair. Both the spare tire well and the battery well were badly hacked by PO's in order to clear the rear IRS suspension....

Well I will just have to make my own , I do have plans just the brake I have will not work for the fender I need . Modify the fender plans some maybe it will work out

Not sure about the rest of the country, but here in California at AUTOZONE & OREILLYS, you can get a VW automatic transaxle "self-supporting" starter, p/n 16300 for $34.99 / 16.00 core @ Autozone or $39.99 / 16.00 core @ O'Reilly's!!! That's a fantastic price for such a great starter!...

I've purchased a Sombrero top from TJ Kustoms. I'm looking for advice on attachment points before I make anything permanent. I have used the existing snap screws for the rear straps temporally and I have not drilled any hole in the windshield frame as of yet . What have others done? Any tips? Click...
