I believe Dominic sold that Bug and it went overseas. Definitly a bad car.

Your buggy is sweet. The paint job looks great and everything else does too. Definitly a show winner.

I think I might have seen that title on Amazon.com Just watching Dust to Glory really got me into the Baja 1000. It's a pretty wild race.

Do you have an idea of what the move is called? I might do a search on Amazon and see what all they have. It is a pretty interesting race.

I figured it was probably brought up before, but I didn't search. Wish it has more Dune Buggys in it..oh well. What about the book titled "1000 Miles to Glory"?

Dust To Glory....one heck of a movie!!

I know this isn't a message board for movie reviews, but Dust To Glory is one heck of a movie. I'm not sure if it has ever been mentioned on here before, but I just watched it and was glued to the screen the entire time. Bruce Meyers himself is in it! It is a movie about the BAJA 1000 and is absolut...

Thanks for the comments. I've started projects before, but never finished one, so this was a test for myself to see what I could accomplish. I have done everything except spray the paint. The interior is still needing to be refinished. The 914 seats have the original covers and have some tears. I'm ...

The Long Road To Success

My Manx is looking more and more like it is road ready...but it isn't. Ha! It still has a lot of little things that need finished. I guess this is motivation to keep me going. I just bolted the wheels and tires up today. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.

The windshield and seal are brand new. The seal doesn't want to slide outwards when trying to get the holes lined up. I bought a dash support kit from Berrian Buggy that came with windshield supports and so I am following those instructions as far as where to drill the holes and all. They aren't tha...

Windshield Mounting Problems

I'm in the process of mounting my windshield but I'm having problems. The rubber seal is preventing me from pushing the frame down onto the dash to where the holes will line up for the bolts. The seal just won't spread itself apart. Has anybody else had this problem and does anybody have any solutio...

Removing the body from the pan is pretty easy. The quickest way is to use an impact if you don't mind the bolts breaking off into the body (which they will most of the time). Remove all the bolts from both undersides, one above each of the rear wheels, two under the fuel tank, and four under the rea...

Number four for me because it is so original looking and just an overall classy Manx. The others are great as well, but I have my favorite. Nice job.

Definitly going for a street rod look. I'll probably end up getting a set of Torq-Thrusts, but still need to figure out the size.

Wheel backspacing

I'm ready to purchase some wheels for my ManxII but can't decide on what backspacing I need. From measuring the front I can have 2" on the front of the drum before it goes past the front fender. I'm wanting the wheel to tuck in so I can lower the front without any major issues. I have a chevy 5...
