Ed, If you are interested in the flip top gas cap like the one CairoManx gave you the link on I actually have one just sitting here and you are welcome to it for the cost of shipping. Just send me a PM and I would be glad to send it out to you if interested. Works well if installed upright like you ...

Dusty, http://www.socalautoparts.com will drill any bolt pattern that you might need and are very reasonable. I had them drill my drums from my Manxter 2+2 a couple of years ago and the pattern runs very true on them. If money is not an issue then try: http://www.airkewld.com or http://www.acindustr...

Why not also just replace the dust cap with a new one that would fit the newer (larger) square spedo cable fitting on the spedo cable. Dust covers aren't that expensive and in the event that you would ever need to replace a cable again it would fit provided the cable goes through the back plate OK i...

Two Priest on Vacation
Two priests decided to go to Hawaii on vacation. They were determined to make this a real vacation by not wearing anything that would identify them as clergy. As soon as the plane landed they headed for a store and bought some really outrageous shorts, shirts, sandals, sunglasses, etc. The next morn...

David, Listen closely to what CairoManx posted for you about just removing the anti-sway bar. He is correct on all other counts as well. That was about the first thing that I did on every buggy that I have ever built since the 60's. Removing the anti-sway bar was also was the first thing I did on my...

Olli, Unfortunately I will not be able to make the trip this year. Business trip in Nashville, TN. that week and the following week was already scheduled months in advance. Besides...this way you can take first place in category and certainly deserve it in my humble opinion. You certainly have to be...

Olli, Congratulations! Great Pics of your completed Manxter. Are you driving or trailering it to the Carlislie show? Just wondering....no wipers? Does NJ not require them for inspection? Now go have lots of fun and get use to all the looks when driving it! Also remind me not to attend any shows that...

Cliff, Welcome and Merry Christmas. I too also have both the original and ducted sidepods. Currently have the original pods installed but will be installing the ducted pods later this winter. What I found with the original pods was that using a floor jack and 2x4, like Olli recommended, works best. ...

Jon, Thanks...I was just curious as a shortened chassi always balanced better with more weight distribution always towards the rear of the vehicle. Much tighter turning radius and overall maneuverability that could roll on three wheels (1) front and (2) rear if a spare was not readily available or a...

Olli, Tank looks increadible but are you absolutely certain this it is going to fit under the hood of a Manxter? I'm sure you measured a 100 times just like everything else on your project which by the way also looks great. Love the glassed in mirrors also. Your ride is going to be one fantastic bug...
