FWIW, I've ditched the facet pump and regulator and ordered a rotary pump from cb performance. 3.5 psi, high volume, no regulator necessary. Will post results when it gets here. in answer to some questions: Why is the idle set so high? I have no idea. I'm not sure it is set to be that high, I think something is wrong that's causing it to be that high because it's not that high when it's cold or after it's been idling for a few minutes. Can't say that the problem happened with the carb install because I didn't install it. It was put on by the previous owner just before he sold it to me.
