I have the dreaded 30PICT carb/009 dizzy on my 1600dp. I bought a rebuilt 34PICT, installed it. It flooded after warm up. I pulled the top off, removed, cleaned and reinstalled the needle/seat unit. I tried to use a small l.e.d light to energize the alternator. I had to rev the engine up where it sounded like it wanted to explode to energize. I knew this was hopeless.
