I just received an e-mail from Winnie, and the Manxter side curtain kits are back in production. $1315, and it sounds like black is in stock now.

I've got a polished aluminum one, new in the box. I'll dig it out and shoot a few photos if you are interested. I was going to mount it in my previous buggy, but ended up selling it to buy the Manxter, and I like the mirror that's already in it.

Is anybody planning to be at Kelley Park on Sunday 4/23? If you are not pre-registered, you can still get in the show if you arrive early (6:30 a.m.) since there are always no-shows. This is a great show at a terrific venue, which is also know as History Park for the turn of the century village restoration where the show is held. I contacted Meyers Manx and was told that the side curtain kit is currently not available because their supplier is no longer making them. Meyers Manx is currently looking for a new supplier and/or an improved design. This is a real disappointment since the curtain kit looked like it was nicely made...

Tom, do you have any photos of how you mounted them? I assume they have electric fans?

Has anyone put an oil cooler in a vented side pod like on a Manxter? I think it will work, but would love to see what others have done rather than reinvent the wheel.

I've recently commissioned a 2165 motor build for my street drive Manxter, and my motor builder is strongly recommending an auxiliary oil cooler with an electric fan. My Manxter has the vented side pods, and it seems like that could provide a good opportunity for a protected installation of the oil ...
