This is a test of the Photo Attachment feature.

Looks like there is a size limit of 256K, so photos taken at high res need to be resized prior to uploading. Also, it looks like scrolling will be required, even when using 854 X 480.

The picture from the photo bucket link doesn't require scrolling though. what size is that photo?

The image from Photo Bucket is 800 X 533. For the other two photos, I've been using Image Resizer in Windows (https://imageresizer.codeplex.com/).

Let's see what happens if I use the Custom setting in Image Resizer to set the above photo to 800 X 533...

Hmmm. Nope, it looks like the image will require scrolling unless it's hosted on another site. Lemme look into this. As a point of interest, the original copy of the above image is a JPEG image created by Adobe Lightroom after processing the RAW image. It's 10.7 MB in size and has dimensions of 4854 X 3236. It's always a good idea to use Image Resizer on such large images prior to uploading, as it greatly reduces the time needed for the upload. We'll just have to find the settings this board likes, and things should go more smoothly.

Looks like there is a built-in limit to the size of the photos which can be hosted on this board. Anything over that limit will end up with scroll bars. Maybe this will help the Admins: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=1379855

Interesting! When I opened this thread on my I phone with the tapatalk app I see the entire image of all the photo's

I think Tapatalk auto fits the pictures. Also note that Tapatalk makes it very easy to upload pictures and they get stored on tapatalk server.

That's an excellent solution for a couple different issues. One of the reasons Facebook has so much traffic is ease of use. If this board is as easy or even easier to access from a Smart Phone, people should start using it instead of the "information black hole" that Facebook is!
