Mark, you have a couple of alternatives here:

1) Use the Gallery function to post images (Top right)
Then post them using the gallery link on the post dialog box.

2) Use Photobucket and hot link - Still trying to add a plugin to auto hotlink on post. Semi-working.

3) Upload an attachment (less desirable)...
