How you doing Gary,,Did you get you brakes yet ??? You should change the name on this thread from Brake System to Gary Manx II build,,,

I have not done anything else on the brakes. lack of funds LOL. I am wating for the body man to stop by give me tips on how to start on the body. Floor pan is done i was going to cut some leaves out of the front beam to try and soften it up.

Yes i did, do i have a 68? LOL I better check that.  Gary, Here are some pictures the Beam welds are ground down but i may add some more. When i get the body down i will get some pictures of it. The ones in the photos are old.Image

Really nice work. Next time I build a buggy I will do a tube frame instead of a hacked up stocker.

You know I didn't have a choice. You could not find anything around here that wasnt junk or over priced.

 I did get some information on kirker paint i have seen a buggy done with there paint. It is priced reasonable enough. I am looking for something bright orange.so you can get a little pricey with some places.

I have heard good things about Kirker as well. They have a GM Hugger Orange that looks good.

No i havent i have been bad. I welded nyloc nuts on the bottom of my mounts were my seats will bolt. That was fun trying to keep the material from melting but it can be done. I need to order seat tracks to finish that part up. I just have slowed down on it busy with other things you know how it goes life i guess.  Gary
