After hand building a couple VW headers I can't imagine how much time was put into that header and then to have it chromed. It is truly a work of art. This was my first effort.
another big downs side to the stinger is if you have your buggy out in the weather you need to cover the exhaust some how so water doesn't get into it and ruin the motor. With a simple U bend and no muffler you will have the same sound but you won't have to worry about the watter issue. A few days ago I made my own u bend. I bought a 3 bolt flange took it to a muffler shop and had them bend a piece of 2 1/2 tubing with a 120 deg. bend so it will sit right above the top of my bumper and point back with a little downward slope. I think it looks great and still has that extremely deep roar.
