Check this pully set up out. TO me it just looks like a broken hand waiting to happen. http://bullyspulleys.com/product.php
Legal:2cents: Purchaser agrees that Bully?s Pulleys? is not responsible for any incidental loss, damage or injury caused by use of its products. Buyer agrees to hold harmless Bully?s Pulleys? in all matters and agrees that all sales are final.
My sand buggy has a 2.3 pinto with no covers on the timing belt. If someone were stupid enough to put their hand in it while it was running, I would have to assume they would grab the header pipe with their other hand just to round out their visit to the ER..... With the belt driving the cooling fan on a VW does slipage ever become an issue????It looks cool...Dangerous = cool.
I agree the Bullys aren't anymore dangerous than a stock pulley. They're both hazards. The Bullys look nice but they seem over priced compared to a BMD pulley. BMDs are cheaper, they have the timing degrees machined into them and come painted or plain. http://www.bmdpulleys.com/order.html
