Where Did 2010 Go???

OK, where in the heck did 2010 go? This past year has "come & gone" faster than any I remember! That ol' saying about the older you get, the faster time flies is really true!
Due to my crazy health issues, the "in the toilet" economy & the very bizarre weather here, I didn't get many of the things on my "to do" list finished or many not even started! Health-wise I am doing better, though a few new issues have arisen their ugly heads! The economy, in reference to the antiques & collectibles business, seems to be much stronger than 2008/2009! Folks are buying the really expensive "good stuff" or the really "cheap stuff", however, the middle of the road "average stuff" that is usually the backbone of the business... nobody seems to want! A lot of our friends that have been in the business for many years, have gotten out of it by retiring or they've moved on in a different direction or some just lost everything!

BUT... a New Year is dawning & another chapter in our lives is beginning! We will pray for a renewal of our spirit, our minds & our bodies!

I vow to live every minute, hour, day & week as if it could be my last & to enjoy life as it should be!
LIFE is too short to be ignored, it must be appreciated, loved, nurtured & shared! YES... SHARED!!!
Smile at folks when you look at them, engage them in a short conversation!
If you see some wearing a "VETERAN'S" hat or vest, ask them about it, THANK THEM for their service!
EVERY DAY, do your best to make at least one person, other than yourself, feel good about themselves or something they do on a daily basis! Compliment something about them... make folks happy!!!

So... what has any of this got to do with f/g buggies... our buggies, are not only FUN FUN FUN to drive & play with, but they are a fantastic tool for getting folks attention! They are great conversation starters! Give someone a short ride & you've not only made a friend for life, but you've planted many "seeds" in their life that can & will take them on adventures beyond belief!
So... get out there & drive your buggies, enjoy them & share them! You'll already have a great big smile on your face from just being in your buggy, so pass it on to the person sitting in the "cookie cutter" car next to you! You never know how you're going to affect someone by smiling & acknowledging them & all the better when you're sitting in your buggy!

Maniac, you are right, where did it go? Seem to be, the older I get, the faster the time is going. I'm glad your health is improving. I wanted to take the buggy out yesterday because it was the 1ST, but being in the 40's...rare weather for Tucson...I wimped out, however we did cruise couple days before Christmas looking at the lights. Be good and enjoy 2011!
