Manx Club Store
is the manx store still going to be available? i've been waiting like a year for that storefront upgrade with new items and online ordering. anyone know whatever happened to that?
I can tell you that when Bruce and Winnie turn over management and responsibility of the club, they will keep the Meyers Manx parts and accessories business themselves. It will be separate from the club.

I recently called Winnie to order some License plate frames for my Tow'd and she said she is sold out with no plans on re-ordering. I also know they are sold out of Tow'd decals with no re-order plans. They are also out of emblems. I actually called to re-up my membership and order some stuff and well......there was nothing really to order. (at least fun stuff like that, Im not sure on inventory of heavy parts or for that matter anything besides what I tried to order) It's strange when I pay to be a member of a club to support a hobby and I can't purchase any cool products because there is no interest to produce anything. Then you have people participating in this kind of caziness: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Emblems- ... enameZWDVW How can the badge business, decal business or the license frame business be a bad thing for Bruce and Winnie?
I have also been on the wholesale/retail end of pricing of patches, bumper stickers, etc. and quantity speaks volumes as far as affording retail prices go. One thing that Bruce and Winnie would have deal with is the projected quantity of items they would actually SELL in a giving span in time? Would it be worth the investment of a large quantity of let's say, patches, if the required minimum amount for decent/affordable pricing would cause most of their order to sit on the shelf and gather dust?
I'm just speaking from my personal understanding, but I believe Bruce and Winnie plan to get out of the T-shirt, patch, sticker and other regalia type business and pass that to the club. (However I also recently heard that Winnie might try to get another small batch of the bronze Meyers Manx dune buggy w/logo keychains. She was finally able to get back in touch with the guy that made them).
They are also out of emblems. I have very mixed feelings on this ($511). It scares the heck out of me that someone will steal the original nose badge off my buggy if they can get a price like this for a piece of plastic. Then the other side of this coin is if my nose badge is this valuable, what is my Manx worth? I know this has been debated before (value of a Manx), but obviously there are people out there that think an original Manx (or trying to pass one off as original - with a nose badge) is valuable. True? Who knows. Regardless, this is insane! I'm glad I have a repro nose badge sitting on my shelf at home. Now I know how I'm going to finance my retirement. Bud
The one that went for $511 in that auction was a reproduction.
I know, that's what scares me about having an original nose badge on my buggy! Bud

Ok, who is this, selling from Dixon, CA?
eBay Manx Front Badge eBay Item # 260176703550 Are you taking the advice to add to your retirement fund?
If the repro went for $511, this one should go for over $1K! I'm heading to the garage to pry my nose badge off
