Dec 2nd - cruise for kids toy run (philly area)

I know this is an east coast thing and most of you are 3000 miles away but here goes anyway. i am part of organizing this one so i figured i would post it up. toy run on sunday dec 2nd. rose tree park in media , pa. this is being put on by the delcocruisers all make car club. planning on 3 buggys so far and a bunch of other VWs. we are going to meet up at 9 to 11. coffee , donuts, juice, milk, etc. then head out to riddle memorial hospital where we are going to make a presentation to the Marine reserve for their toys for tots in conjuction with unveiling an annual holiday train display that the hospital does. then we are going up to give out gifts to some of the children who are stuck in the hospital for whatever reason this holiday season. of course Santa and the Mrs will be on hand to present the gifts and for polaroids with the kids! then we are heading to crozier-chester medical center for the same thing. in addition we have been asked at crozier to do something for the neo-natal families as well. so we are purchasing parking passes for the families there to help relieve at least a little of the stress of what they are going through. so rather than the normal toys for tots 'drop off the presents' we figured going in and showing these kids there were people out there thinking of them was the way to go. so... if you can't make it and if any of you feel so inclined,and are able, you can make a donation which will be used specifically for the purchase of the gifts - 100%. no overhead, no profit ,etc. If not, please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers. donations accepted through paypal: http://www.delcocruisers.com/cruise.html thanks all!
