I remember seeing the plug/buck for this baby in a small Hot VW's feature back around 02. With the help of Allen Pierce my UK buddy (Tony) tried to buy one of these kits last year. Seems some real bad vibes surround its history so far,,, maybe Allen will take up the story :help:

I've deleted the story/history from my computer that was sent to me regarding this buggy last year. I seem to recall some guy did the design & made the molds,,, think it may have been a father & son thing. There were some bad vibes between the father and a third party/business parnership,,,,,,,,,,,,,the father got very ill and as a result and passed away. The son ended up destroying the molds so the third party could not get their hands on the project. Sorry the above sounds a little vague (theres more to it) but, thats about all I can recall of the sad story I received via email. Allen also got these details mailed to him, maybe he saved them & could shed further light on the subject.
