Gromet for Fuel tank filler neck

Post by mstokes »

Does anyone know where I can find a rubber gromet for the fuel tank filler neck where it protrudes through the fiberglass hood on a Manx? :help:

You might try older Chev or Ford suppliers or ebay.It seems like Chev pick ups (50's-60's)had the gas fill necks mounted in the cab area.

Where can I find it?

It looks like exactly what I want. Please tell me where I can purchase one and what it is called or a part number. Your written last thread was a little fuzzy. :drinking:

Triumph GT4, or GT6 is the one I used. Has a 2" diameter hole in it.

Yes, Buggy Bum, I would appreciate it if you would send me one of the Soil Pipe collars. My Address is Mike Stokes, 206 Terrace Ln, Simpsonville, SC 29681. It might be less expensive to send it snail mail. How can I repay you? BTW, Nice Dune Buggy ! Thanks, Mike

Thank you. I will let you know when it arrives. I'm doing a body off resto. I'm hoping to keep the original metal flake and only adding a new clear coat. I'm trying to get all the little details worked out while I'm waiting on the body to return from the paint shop. Thanks again Mike :D
