EMPI E-Z-R Shifter Wanted.

Post by manxdavid »

Does anyone have one of these in decent condition for a sensible price for an EMPI GTV replica? Image I appologize for not posting in the 'classified' section but but there seems to be a fault there and it won't let me submit. It's a bit hidden away anyway and like the Manxter forum, no one seem to go there any more...
Hey David... that's a new one on me... I've never seen a shifter like that!!!
It's a sort of sleeve that fits over the original ('68 on) shifter, with a new base stamping that works the same way a 'quick shift' kit works. They look better than they work.
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... ?id=878331
Thanks Nelson, I saw that one but the chrome looks a bit on the rough side. There's an NOS one but it's a bit 'rich for my blood' at $150-. NOS ones when they do come up for sale go for approx. $95 in the UK.
