The new shop for all of the buggys is built. I now need to run air lines from the compressor to about 5 stations inside and outside the shop for air tools, tire things, sand blasting cabinet, and small paint booth. The compressor sits in the back of the shop, and all of the lines will be run behind sheetrock. What's the consensus on what piping I should use? Copper, black pipe, or schedule-40 plastic pipe?? What size??
A friend of mine has used half inch schedule forty in his shop for years with good results.
PS Got any new pictures?

In the automotive shops that I've worked in the air has been run through black pipe. I don't necessarily recommend that due to the rust that may form from the effects of condensation. Copper or Schedule 40 is your best bet. If you have water run in the shop you could simplify it all by going copper piping for both.
I already have it full of buggys. Still needs paint, electrical, insulation, and sheetrock, but that's up to me. Here's a picture of the front with a couple of buggys in front. And a video of what it looks like on the inside...
