If you decide to go with a single 44idf, I have some pretty good baseline jetting and venturie numbers for various engine sizes. The biggest thing to remember is the squirter nozzles. When properly jetted and setup a 1835 with an Engle 130 cam and a single 44idf will pull away from 10mph in 4th gear without a hiccup and get 23mpg on the highway.
