i WILL PASS AS YOU SAY. THANKS
Matt, Where are you located? There are lots of buggies on TheSamba.Com in all ranges of price. If you were looking for something real unique at at a good price, in Arizona there is a Glitterbug which is mounted on a custom floorpan that uses Corvair running gear. Its just $400 and very cool. Dollar per horsepower, Corvair engines are still a bargain. I have to say though, it wouldn't be a good project for a beginner. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=242729

This one looks like it might be a real bargain at $3800 to $4800. The guy says its a Manx 2, but the dash looks ABS and doesn't have a point at the bottom center, so I'd say it looks like an original 67-70 Meyers Manx. The big question is: Does it have a tag? If it does, its a steal. The body has a few extra holes that need to be filled and a paint job, but it looks mechanically excellent. It even has Type 3 rear brakes. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=218273

There are (basicly) two types of fiberglass bodies - Corvettes with V8s and F/G Buggies with 4 cyl HO (please, no cracks from those that use Subrs, I am just trying to make a point) This thing is a very poor imitation of BOTH!!!! Is is a poor man's Vette or a another man's buggy? But we must remember, somewhere this buggy has a maker, and that maker is proud of the work. Its kinda like "but his mother loves him".
