Well as Bill said it has been sunny and warm and in the 70s. I am currently working on restoring a clone for a guy out of Orangeburg that I met while helping a friend at his shop. Elijah saw mine and stopped and asked if I could rewire his and it has become major restoration. I have already rebulit the pan including aluminum floors, reworked the engine, and am currently preping the body to paint during these warm days. My objective is to have it finished sometime in March and recruit him as a new member of the Club. He will give Bill and myself somone to cruise around with. Bud if you haven't figured it out Bill is Clemson grad and you will never convert him. If I am not mistaken he even has tiger paws filling in the air duct holes on his fan shroud.
Looks like I"m going with Red-Kote. Ordered a quart today.
Well, I did the dirty deed. Sealed my tank this weekend and now it's a pretty red inside: Image I guess I'll have to wait 40+ years to see if it works :-) Here's what the old tank looked like inside (note it has that Clemson orange tint to it) ;-) Image Bud
