Thanks AZSpeedbuggy, but I just got back from another K-Mart and they had 3 of them with the same marks as mine so I guess I will open it. It only hurts while you are opening it, but you forget that when you get it in your hands.
if i see one i'll pick it up. they're like 5 bucks i think retail. i'll let you know if i get one.
Thanks Mike. I am new to ebay so these cars are a good way to pratice (you cant loose much money).+ I like the cars. Someone earlier said they got out bid on the red HW Manx. there are 2 on there now for around $1.00.
Wait till you start on the Cox (gas) Dune Buggies. I have two so far (a purple and an Orange).
Mickey, I would love to get ahold of a Cox buggy. I friend down the street picked one up in the box (used) for $50.00 at a bug show. I would have to run it though so I guess I need 2...
buggys MUST be making a comeback. i'm starting to see stuff all over the place. those cox buggies are cool but too expensive! maybe if i find one at a yard sale. I'm taking your idea Dave. I stopped in target today and picked up 20 of the gold ones.(all had gold wheels chuck ) when i go to a show again i'll give them out to kids who i know or look overly interested in the buggy.mines copper colored-pretty close. I also saw this today while i was there. a bit bigger than the hot wheels, but really cool non the less. came in a box of 5 for 4.99.new from tonka: for size comparison:
Buggies are definatly making a comeback. So are air cooled VW's. I see classic VW's on TV ads alot now. mostly busses. I think its great buggies are getting more attention now but it is driving the $$ up for those "forgotten" buggies I see from time to time.
yes I am at work ...and VERY bored! so gimmie a break. i have limited supplies here! 2 of the used manx section of the VW dealership and one of a poor manx used at this years monster jam...
