I could not help but notice... What kind of intake system did this car have? I could not find the owner to ask more questions. Maybe someone out there knows more about this thing.

I wasn't there, but it looks like it has twin turbos, one on either side of fan shroud, with either a pair of sidedraft carbs, or sidedrafts that became throttlebodies for an FI setup... Bryan in NC

Saw the car a couple of times during the Vegas weekend and talked to the owner a bit. Motor uses prototype 4 valve heads and twin turbos. Carburation is via 4 Mukuni flat slde motorcycle carbs. The owner said that just they got it finished the night before so they are still working on the tune.
