Not seen Volksworld yet but there's a 'kin 'orrible magenta 'flake Jizz...sorry, Jas Buggy in Ultra VW. Waste of Sprintstars if you ask me!!! IMHO of course!!!

Yep I got mine today and IMHO of course I don't really think this is much of a feature car seeing as all the guy did was buy a fully built manx put a speaker box in it and got "someone else" to retrim the interior and then added some mirrors
What about us guys who work away in cold garages for two years! And whats worse is that they asked me if they could feature my Manx over 9 months ago and I have heard nothing since and then to see a car like this featured well its a kick in the pants to be honest. IMHO of course

I know the car you mean then and it used to be quite a nice Manx...there's a lot to knowing when to stop though. Last time I saw it it had a row of rubber monsters clipped to the roll bar...not nice IMHO.

The big problem with mag features is, they do the photo shoot early, just to stop you going to another mag, then they make you wait. A kind of war between the two main mags, to get the feature cars, i reckon. With all the buggies in UK now, we could have a quarterly buggy mag, like the USA Sandsports,,,, or a buggy special pull out supplement, with lots of buggy features, rather that one per mag every few months. There is no shortage of nice buggies out there :rock:

Hey people - just thought you might like to know I just got off the phone with Ivan from Volksworld magazine and the feature on mine is now in the bag!!!! At last!!!! Now I've just got to get all the little details finished and she'll be ready - I can't wait to see her in print:D

Do companies pay you to be in their mags.? Or is it just the pride of ownership and recognition you get for compensation?

All my friend and family keep asking if I am going to get paid for my feature - I don't really get that question - Surely its all about recignition for a car well built and showing off of course. Its not about money!
