A guy called David Barns (from USA) called me about 2 years ago to say, that he was remaking the Deserter buggy, he wanted to know where to get the windscreens from. He was casting the screen posts that you asked about. The only contact i have is M87@pacbell.net. He shipped from UK a number of screens too. These came from Pilkington glass, Sheerness England, part number 77, Pilkington also make screens for many other vehicles, just incase any of you guys are hunting for rare European vehicle glass.FAO Don King & B/Hunter guys

It looks like Lo-Can glass went out of business here in the states. They used to sell them for $500. Their web site now sends you to Plinkington. I just made mine out of 1/4 inch Lexan. You can't tell the difference unless you get up close and tap on it. If it wears out just buy a new piece and route out the new one using the old one for a pattern. Mine came out better then I ever expected. Now for legal Well!!! You can always go out and find a 62 Renault Delophine and get the windshield off of it. :laugh1:
