Renagade Windshield?

I asked this question on http://www.thesamba.com a while ago but didn't get an answer.

Does anyone know what windshield was fitted to the original American Glassco Renegade?

I just found this on ebay and if I can get it for a good price (like below the start price if it doesn't sell) I could be tempted...

Yes, thanks, I know British Renagades were fitted with a Ford Anglia screen (the Harry Potter car) but I always prefered the look of the original Californian car and was wondering what they were fitted with.

Hi David, Is this the same as the Deserter GT and Bounty Hunter? I believe those use the Renault Dauphine windshield.

I've always thought that it could have been, I seem to remember from somewhere that the Renegade and the BH were closely related but have never seen two side by side.

Yes I have, I found this pic I took years ago, the bottom of the screen on the Renegade looks flatter to me, maybe they altered the mould for the British version though, who knows!!!
