I have finally decided on a color

Post by jr_vw2 »

Here is the color I have decided on for my buggy. Let me know what you guys think. I will be two toneing it, with the raw fiberglass under parts done in flat black. Image Image

I've always liked that orange color Good choice. Though yellow and green are some popular colors also. :2cents:

That is the same color I picked to paint the Sand Shark buggy I'm working on. I think it will look great!

dodge daytona orange has my vote! That will loke sharp with your wheels. Go for it! Also, I think side pods would really set your car off. I Think street sweepers need side pods

I like a silver blue for myself. The Dodge orange looks great. I think you will love it.

That color will look awsome. Doesn't Dodge officially call that color "Go Man Go" ? Olli

Our buggy began life as what I would call rootbeer orange (just like the color you are looking at, but larger metalflake). Would love to have it that color again, but it was painted yellow before we bought it. That's ok, since I love yellow too, but it would have been nice to have a vintage color from the '70's. :D

Hi all, new here, Just wanted to chime in on your buggy, I vote for the dodge color, I have been lurking here for awhile now, you were talking about the old color, well I don't have a pic of my buggy in this color, but mine is a org. lime green and I think I might make it a metalflake lime green. Oh me and my wife both have org. meyers manx that need to be redone, will post some pic's this week sometime.
