Dust To Glory....one heck of a movie!!

I know this isn't a message board for movie reviews, but Dust To Glory is one heck of a movie. I'm not sure if it has ever been mentioned on here before, but I just watched it and was glued to the screen the entire time. Bruce Meyers himself is in it! It is a movie about the BAJA 1000 and is absolutely amazing. If you like racing of any kind...go get this movie... ok I'm done. : )

I figured it was probably brought up before, but I didn't search. Wish it has more Dune Buggys in it..oh well. What about the book titled "1000 Miles to Glory"?

There is another movie about the 67 or 69 baja 1000 that shows Mr Meyers being hauled out of a wrecked buggy with broken legs I believe. Not to many saftey rules back then, no Life Flight either. Just a bumpy ride in a crappy ambulance to a crappy hospital.

Do you have an idea of what the move is called? I might do a search on Amazon and see what all they have. It is a pretty interesting race.

I will have to ask my sister, I gave the dvd to my nephew. It was kind of a narritive that the wild world of sports guy put together. Lots of good footage, mostly trucks and bikes.

Try NETFLIX! I just ordered it last night.. Should arrive next week some time. JUST FINISHED WATCHING ONE HELL OF A GREAT MOVIE. Everyone should see it!

I think I might have seen that title on Amazon.com Just watching Dust to Glory really got me into the Baja 1000. It's a pretty wild race.

Dust To Glory is indeed awesome....even better on a large screen with big sound. A few minutes into the film, before they even showed his face, I heard Bruce's voice and elbowed the missus. "It's BRUCE, hunny!"

I saw it at the theatre with a bunch of friends and the same bunch of friends were over 2 weeks ago to watch it again. It's too bad everyone doesn't get the chance to see it at the theatre, it really adds to the movie. I really enjoyed on the TV too.

On a big screen with surround sound, it's not bad at home either....and I can pause the movie for a pit stop too. :rock:
