Take a look at these headers. Is this a good deal?? I am looking for a 1 5/8" header or my buggy. Most of them that I have seen go for about $200+ for ceramic coated. these are only $160..why?? Are they crappy. Let me know what you guys think. thanks. http://lowbugget.com/merged_headers.html

I paid about $150 to have my header coated, they are made in USA, and made from 16g (.060) material. Sounds like a deal to me. The only thing I don't like is the lower outlet. It seems like it would get crushed when you do a wheelie or fly down a steep hill in reverse. Or drag when you go up a steep hill forward. So for street use and no wheelies, good deal.

I think you would be making a mistake buying a 1 5/8" diameter header for a 1915 that will be driven primarily on the street. I would buy the 1 1/2" header. The 1 5/8" header will only help you over 5500 rpm but will reduce the low and midrange torque a considerable amount. Bigger isn't always better. I'm sure the headers are a quality piece, you can't go wrong with stuff from AJ Sims.
