Thanks everyone!! :D Maybe someday Tom & I will get to see it! We each tried to get the mag @ a bookstore without any luck. Our subscription copy has not arrived yet. We are both anxious to see what Dean Kirsten did for a spread. Although we were there for the orchestration, we have never seen how the pictures came out. As many of you know, a buggy is an unending work in progress.....esp. when you show your buggy. The pictures are almost 2 years old, and both buggies saw major changes last year. Tom's interior is now color matched to the "fire" painted on his buggy. I have a different engine (1600 to 1914cc) and the roof is on the car. Of course the cars will have some changes again this year. Thanks again......WHERE IS THAT DOGGONE MAILMAN??!!! %&/#$ Kathleen

THE MAGAZINE FINALLY ARRIVED!!! First came the mail truck, then the dash thru the cold to the mailbox! OH JOY! The magazine is here! Then came the Happy Dance along with confirming for a few neighbors that I truely am crazy. I tear open the plastic wrapper. What did he say? ....page 64 -65? Here it is!! :D UH oh...wait til Tom sees it. I'm in trouble now! They were going to take pictures of his buggy and I got asked along for the ride. Now we are in the magazine and I have more pictures than he does. This is not going to go over well. After all, I wouldn't even have a buggy if it wasn't for his support/ help/ knowledge. He is the brains and brawn behind both cars. I just have more experience decorating. I make stuff pretty and he makes billet stuff. Well, Tom has seen it now. He's down in the basement ...licking his wounds... er, I mean, working on his new engine. Of course we arrive again @ the "moral to the story". If you compete with your car, NEVER build your wife a vehicle in the same class as you- especially if she has a bigger budget than you!!! Kathleen, with tongue in cheek

Thanks Olli - as great of a job as you are doing on your car, it is only a matter of time before you are in Hot VW's also! Just don't hold your breath after they take the pictures, it takes a "while". Just when you think you are on the "cutting room floor" for good, it shows up. Tom
