Country Music on the internet
Country Music on the internet
I am an avid listener to Curtin Radio 100.1FM here in Perth West Australia. It is a community station which is helped by volunteers, of which I used to be one. On Saturday afternoons, there is a country music program called Born in Boots, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. our time. Log in to http://www.borninboots.com and click on the "on air" prompt. In the USA the time differential is approximately 12/14 hours behind and in Europe it's about 8 hours behind. I listen to it most Saturdays and I would really like you to email them with requests, which they will do for overseas listeners. When you ask for a request tell them who told you about the program and that you are dune buggy lovers. Richard Hines aka shaihulud
Yes. David. I've heard Jimmy Buffet on Born in Boots. They play the whole range of country including Australian songs which you have probably not heard before.
That'll be 'Pub with no beer' and 'Tie me kangaroo down sport' then???LOL

Hey you guys. If you want to listen to REAL country music. You have to go to http://www.khyi.com I am lucky enough to live here in Dallas, Texas, so I can listen all day, but you can listen to them on the web. Its what we call "texas music" but they play alot of "americana" and older country. But as they say, you won't find any "pretty boy" country singers here. And David, they do play some Buffet. Jimmy looks like he is going back to his country roots. Plus make sure you look at the Ringo Star plug of one of the best Texas songwriters, Ray Wyle Hubbard. Rabbit and Snake farm are my 2 favorite songs right now. Once you listen to this station you will understand why we live here in Texas. Its the music. Gary
