Monocoque Manxes???

Post by manxdavid »

Does anyone know the numbers whereabouts of the remaining Monocoque Manxes?

I was just wondering because I found this photo on my c drive but haven't got a clue how it got there (it may be #7 pre-resto but doesn't look as bad as the old VWT article made it out)...it just set up a train of thought. I know of Old Red, Quatro and the blue one, #7 but am a bit scetchy about the rest.

David,

I think that is Richard Brown's place after the hurricane Katrina.

I remember seeing more pictures of the damage caused by the water.

As to your question of how many monocoques have been found in the latest registry only 7 are accounted for.

I haven't had a copy of the registry since about 1999 or 2000, I must get one when I renew my membership.

David,

Please remember that the Manx Registry is published by Meyers MANX, Inc. not the Manx Club.
