Dave Barrett of Sanger (Fresno), CA used to make Manx and Towd style bodies. Now he makes a really nice steel tube chassis for the Manx. He does several different styles. I want the one below. He has a new webpage.

I've been down and visited Dave and definitely want to get one. I've got an early Manx2 body that didn't have battery or spare wells. With no obstructions under the back seat, Dave says he can run tube straight across, back there and make it even stronger. I want to use IRS suspension with a mid-shift 091 and reverse rotation Corvair engine. The drive train would be hung from the steel frame above, with no frame horns under the trans. Just as soon as I have the cash. My bother is converting the pics from Mac.
