How much does your buggy Weigh?
I was tinkering with my Tourista today...trying to get the roof to fit, and so on...and one of my neighbors came up asked me how much it weighed...and I really had no idea. (He once raced Sprites, and thinks Buggys might be heavier)

My FiberFab weighs @ 1380#. It has a full cage, IRS, sway bars & big brakes. We think the Manxter was @ 1500#. but it is too late to weigh it as an aircooled car. We will weigh it as a Manxter S when it is done. I'm guessing @ 1800 # then. Tom
My buggy weighs 600 kg's with all the scaffolding & the tool bag etc on board,, thats about the same weight as an F1 race car. My buddies SWB Manx type weighs 540 kg's,,, but thats without any roll bar, tool box or fire extinguishers etc on board.
Sorry guys,,,,, guess we're talking LWB buggies here Finishing school in 68/69 was a tough time,,, we used Quarts, litres, lb's, kg's, feet n inches, metric, decimal, pounds, shillings & pence back then SO,>> 600 kg's = 1320 lb's & 540 kg's = 1188 lb's.
