transmission issue

Please chime in if you have any thoughts or advice.My buggy will only go into reverse I need some advice on transmission issue

Is it possible that your shift linkage is just out of adjustment? That you can adjust yourself. If not, what area do you live in? There are some decent VW transmission places out there. What ever you do, DO NOT take it to a regular automotive transmission shop as they are likely to charge you 2 to 3 times more for the same repair.
