Bruce Meyers Back Surgery Recovery

Post by surfnc »

As some of you know Bruce went through back
surgery a while back and has had a slower than expected recovery. I
would like to ask that we keep him and Winnie in our prayers and
thoughts.

Winnie is working very hard to get him up and moving to help speed his
recovery and healing. Bruce has been working hard to stay motivated and
keep up with his exercises.

They are wonderful people, and I thank you all in advance for your prayers and thoughts.

Bruce Meyers Back Surgery Recovery

Post by towd-dude »

Bruce and Winnie made it up to Cool Country Nights in Northern Nevada for the Sept. 14-16 Manx Club run.  Valley Center to Gardnerville is about 450 miles and 12hs driving depending on how many stops you make. A hard ride if your healthy much worse if you're recovering from back surgery and in your middle earlies. On the way up they stoped over at Bob and Nancy Lee's in Lone Pine. On the way home they did it non-stop (no layover). It's my guess the trip home was more like 15 hrs or so. It was obovious that at times Bruce was in great discomfort. God Bless Winnie if it weren't for her Burce might not even be able to get out of bed. So what makes him do it? My feeling is he is as much attached to the club members as they are with him. I think he got energized being around people who are as much in love with his creation as he is.
