I wasn't sure what the wiper motor bracket was suppost to mount to, so I glassed in a bracket under the hood. This is a Manx II copy where the hood and dash are one piece. Image Fabrication of the center mount for the wiper assembly under the hood. 1. I bent the mounting bracket parallel with the hood. 2. Cut a piece of pink foam to the shape of the bracket. 3. Scuffed up the area with 36 grit and cover the foam bracket with several layers of fiber glass leaving the one side open. 4. After it cured I drilled the hole and cut out the foam. Because foam was used for a form I used the West System epoxy resin. It is very solid.

I think that I will copy your idea if you don't mind. Seems like a good plan. How will it hold up thru the bumps though??
