Congrats to my honey for being so creative and recognizing the turtle and finding the prize!

Glad to see Steve was able to get the buggy taken care of. Hopefully it will be back on the road quickly and we'll see him on another run.

Thanks Mark for helping him get it road worthy for the trip home.

Can you explain for those of us that couldn't attend? I want to know if I need to turn every turtle over that I see and look for $$

During one of the pre-runs, Lori-Ann hid a "prize" and made a little rock turtle pointing toward it. But if you want to look under every rock for a prize, well go right ahead... :D

Here are some pics we have from the weekend.
(Thanks to whoever fixed the pic issue  . They all seem to be coming up now :D ).
The view from our hotel room.
1412

Pre-run stop at a hidden cove on the lake.
1414

VW's float, don't they?
1415

Mel in the buggy by the lake.
1416

We went on the extreme run. Had 3 cars break down before we even made it to the rough stuff. Our first breakdown stop (and our second... We didn't have to move. Alright, SOMEONE has to have pics of the first two breakdowns somewhere...).
1419

Life in the desert... (looking for things to do while we wait for repairs...).
1435

Lunch spot.
1436

Just down from the lunch spot was an abandoned Bronco.
1434

Photo op just before the end of the run.
1424

While Steve from Mammoth hung in there until almost the very end, the last major hill before the good road did his buggy in.
1429

I don't think it's suppose to look like that...
1428

The rescue crew on the job!
1426

The subtle art of field repair...
1433

1431

From here, we trailered it up to Mark's house for a better repair so Steve could get the buggy home.
1430

Had a great weekend and glad to lend a hand when ever we could.

Mike, I can't see your pictures, you might have to change a privacy setting.

Mike, that figures. I can see them on my home computer (the one the pics were posted on), but not my phone. OK, it shows that the sub-album (in my personal album section) is accessible to everyone. Not sure what to do next. Any help?

It appears that there's a 'bug' in either the database and/or the forum itself. I have a ticket opened with the forum software. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'll update this thread as soon as I get the problem resolved.

Def a case of CBFM on this one... I still have the case open with the forum support but I agree, looks better now. Very strange. I may edit 5150bossman's post to reference the lower res version for faster load times and we'll keep an eye on this issue.

Thanks all for your patience.
