We had a great time in Mammoth. Many thanks to the guys who helped pre run the Laurel Lakes, Crowley Lake, Convict Lake run.
Getting started.
Once on the dirt road we headed through some pretty cattle grazing county, then off to a beach at Crowly for a break.
After a short break we headed across some more dirt the the dam that creates Crowley lake.
Then it was off to lunch at Convict lake. Sure was a nice spot.
Then it was to the trail head to Laurel Lakes. It is a little challanging but all the buggies made it no problem.
Fun by all.
Fantastic Scenery.
Some of the fun swithbacks.
A lone buggy. Could this be Kevin?
While up on the mountain we ran across a group of jeeps. Needless to say they were impressed.
Here is the lake at 9800 feet.
Our fearless sweep buggy with a friend.
Headed back.
All done.
We all had fun. Joe claims the run was 66.6 miles. Hmmmmmm.
Special thanks to Ed, Mike and Shirl, Mike and Patty and Richard for their pre-run support.
