Hygene,
I was thinking about your groups drivers meeting after the main drivers meeting and I will start doing that at every event. After the main meeting, the gruops will then have a group meeting to discuss specifics. Great idea, glad I though of it.

Drivers meeting after Show and Shine. Ready for the run.
Ron Landaker (sorry if it's misspelled) was the leader for the medium / difficult run which was fun, very scenic but VERY dusty . No breakdowns except for a flat tire.
Saturday's BBQ dinner at the Mammoth RV Resorts clubhouse. Great dinner and lots of fun meeting more great people.
Saturday night's campfire. Between all the jokes and stories, it made for a VERY entertaining evening.
In this picture Bruce is showing us the size of the trout he caught in the creek just down the road
Just kidding! Bruce's stories are always great and he has some really good jokes.
Sunday's run to Horseshoe Lake.
On Sunday after the official Manx Club event had concluded, Dick and Wendy, Curt and Shelly, Mike and Shirl, Dave, Barabara, Onie and I decided to head off to Bodie. We started out kind of late but got there in time to stop and have lunch and look around for a while. What a great place to take pictures and learn about all the people that used to live there. When we got into Lee Vining we pulled into the gas station and Mike had said he lost his clutch, we couldn't fix it there because it needed to be welded so Mike got it into 3rd gear and we made it back to Mammoth. The next morning we were going to Yosemite and we needed to get it welded. Ron Landaker has a welding shop close to the RV resort and was gracious enough to come in at 7:30 in the am to weld it for Mike. What a great guy, Thanks Ron.
On Monday Mike and Shirl, Curt and Shelly, Barabara, Onie and I really wanted to go to Yosemite. It is a 3 hour drive one way so we left at 9:00 am and got to Tioga Pass in about 40 min., then started the climb up Tioga pass.
Thats a pretty steep climb but when we made it to the top, we were greeted with a fantastic view of Ellery Lake. We stopped to take pictures but at every turn it was more beautiful. I knew it was going to take some time to get to the village so we decided not to stop so often and continue on to the valley floor.
Lunch time
We all made it back to Mammoth without any problems. What a fantastic trip and we couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. I never thought i would be driving our buggy through one of the most beautiful places in the country, Onie and I love Yosemite and go there often but going in the buggy along with the great people you get to meet and travel with made it that much more special.
