We had a wonderful time in the Santa Paula Christmas Parade, followed by a potluck lunch, then a great drive up Sulpher Mountain Road in Ojai. Awesome way to spend a day! Beautiful buggies, good food and great people!  You can see my pictures by following the link below to my Facebook account.

We did have a good time. The kids (young and old) love seeing the buggies and we had a prime location in the parade - just a short distance ahead of Santa - who arrived on the antique fire engine!

We had a blast at the parade, My jaw still hurts from smiling. I was surprised at how many people were there. Great food and got to meet some new buggy friends. Lynn and Connie were great hosts and what a nice workshop for the buggies. Thanks again for a great day.

We're so happy you joined us! A great way to get into the spirit! Here's looking forward to a lot of great adventures and runs in 2011! And - may my buggy, Beezer, be up and running so I can WOW everyone with my shocking pink shocks & tranny!

Here is a link to our pics from the parade.  We had a great time, and were able to get home about an hour before it started to rain!  Couldn't ask for a better day (that's not counting that it was a shivering 32* when we left home at about 7 in the morning).

We also had a great time. What a great way to spend the day. As we pulled into the driveway it started to rain, so I didn't have to hear how we should have brought rain coats LOL. Thank you Lynn and Connie for everything. Jen has been trying to get me to paint the shocks on the tow'd pink also. I just can't bring myself to do it Doran

Glad you had a good time - we sure did!

Thinking about a "second annual Fathers Day run" - we'll have to put our heads together and figure something out. I think Mike mentioned Big Caliente. I don't know much about it but sounds like a good place to "pre-run".

One Jen sees Beezer with pink shocks, pink tranny case and pink (and yellow) brake drums, you're gonna have a fight on your hands not to paint the Towd's shocks! I'm excited to have my very own "girlie" buggy!
