Here are some pics of the Mt. Misery Christmas Fun Run in the NJ Pine Barrens. One of many places that dune buggies can go off roading in the Philadelphia area. About an hour's ride northeast of Phila. This run was sponsored by a dune buggy club from Pennsylvania. Mt. Misery is one of many places in the Pine Barrens to go riding. It is a sand pit the size of two football fields with a mud puddle at one end, and hills to climb at the other.

hope the buggys will be fixed by the campout looking at maybe mid may or early/mid june. overnight buggy outing in the pine barrens. no specifics yet on where / what type of camping. going to find out if we can just tent in the wilderness. but there are campsites and some cabin sort of things. but looking to get a good tentative date first. any feelings? of course we'll have to have a jersey devil hunt once it gets dark!

Looks like a top spot

that is a good idea about going on a hunt for the jersey devel at night. It gets mitty dark in the pines at night. I think we would be better camping at the state park campground. This way we have the bathhouse for the ladies. All the fun spots in the pines are a short ride a way from the park. Lets try for a weekend in june?
