The Big Bear event planning committee is still actively working on the event. We anticipate an exceptionally large turnout this year and as such we have been working on a new location. We are currently in communication with the property owner to work out an agreement.
At this time, the USFS is requesting a COVID mitigation plan before they will issue us a trail permit. That being said, the forecast for California and opening up has been reported to be improving.
The Governor of CA is scheduled to make an announcement on June 15th that may affect our ability to host the event. We will continue our planning efforts as if the Official Manx Club event will be a go for July 9,10,11 2021.
If you have made any lodging arrangements with places like Wolf Creek, Holloways Marina or any other location, we suggest you contact them personally and confirm your status.
Please bear with us as we navigate these challenging times, we will continue to update you as more details become available.
Thank You

Re: 2021 Big Bear Bash **UPDATE**
Registration for Big Bear July 9-11, 2021 is now open. Pre-registration that include T-shirts will close on 6/16/21, otherwise we will accept online pre-registrations until 6/26/21 after that date any received will be considered late registrations.
We hope everyone is doing well. We are very excited and can’t wait to see our Manx Club family again.
This year is the 25th Anniversary of the Big Bear Bash event and we are expecting a very large group. We are finalizing the use agreement on a new location at the Brownie Lane Parking lot, located along Brownie lane and Moonridge Rd. This location is much larger than Wolf Creek and will not only provide us with more area to display our buggy’s, but will also be more accessible.
We will NOT be catering a dinner on Saturday night. The restrictions that have been in place for the last year have had a tremendous impact on the local community, we are encouraging everyone to spread out and support local eateries. We will have our awards ceremony Saturday night 7:00 PM along with a desert pot-luck followed by a special video presentation.
If you have made any lodging arrangements with places such as Wolf Creek, Holloways Marina or any other location, We suggest you contact them personally and confirm your status.
There will be a special commemorative gift for the first 300 registrations received and who attend the event so register early.

We are anticipating a large turnout for this event, as such we will need to split up into various group rides. I'm looking for volunteers to lead and sweep the trail runs. I will provide maps and routes or if you have a route in mind let me know.

The 2021 Big Bear Bash tentative schedule. We will not be hosting a dinner on Saturday night, we are encouraging everyone to go out and support the local restaurants that have been hit hard from shut downs this past year. We are also working on a Pancake breakfast for Sunday morning prior to the Raffle to help a local group raise funds also.

Re: 2021 Big Bear Bash **UPDATE**
I keep our Manx at our cabin in Big Bear and my son frequently drives the forest roads there. He says the road from Gold Mtn (Baldwin Lake) to Holcomb Valley is in bad shape but the road up Van Dusen Canyon to Holcomb is good and from Fawnskin to Big Pine Flats is OK. There is a connector road from Holcomb to Big Pine which is usually in good shape and some folks from Fawnskin still use the back road to get to Hesperia through Big Pine, so it's likely OK. The forest road from Fawnskin to Green Valley is still closed (washed out). There are roads from Green Valley to Crab Flats and Big Bine but he said there is a wash-out along that route, though he managed to get through. Road behind Snow Summit should be OK but don't recommend going down to 7 Oaks. Two years ago we took that route and lost a couple of buggies. We made it but had about $500 worth of repairs. 2N01 from near top of Onyx Summit to Round Valley is usually in good shape - not sure about route to Pioneer Town but it's usually OK. Round Valley route back through Cactus Flats to Hwy 18 has a real bad spot - we don't even take our quads through there. Feel free to contact us a 9097062427.
PS - We've only been to 1 Bash. What are the "Buggsita's" staging and run on July 9? Thanks
