It a VW Thing Pan the same as a beetle pan? I might have found a doner of a really beat up Thing. Thanks Gary

The tunnel is the same but the "pans" are different but can easily be retrofitted with T-1 Bug pans.

I think that the Thing has a Karmann pan which is wider at the front. Never having inspected a Thing, I'm not sure about this.

Yes, the Thing is basically the same as a Ghia (some differences in the embossing and seat rails) but the only differance between the Ghia/Thing from a T-1 Beetle is the shape of the actual sheetmetal floorpans.
