Cv axle

Post by Sarge78 »

I have a 71 vw, dune buggy with what I believe is a 1911 motor. Where can I find better cv shafts or drive axle? It has around 110hp (or so I was told). I’m not a mechanic and this is my first VW. I took off and accidentally drove a little wheelie and now back end wobbles and the tires lean in pretty good at the top.

I know this is late, but did you ever get your issue addressed?

It sounds more like you have a wheel bearing/stub axle issue. do you have any pictures you can share?
